Regarding AI's influence on employment, 73% of experts anticipate a positive effect on job performance over the next two decades, whereas only 23% of the public agrees. Both groups express scepticism about AI's role in elections and news media, with just 11% of experts and 9% of the public foreseeing positive impacts on elections.
Despite differing levels of optimism, both experts and the public desire more control over AI in their lives. Approximately 57% of experts and 55% of U.S. adults express this sentiment. Additionally, both groups are concerned about insufficient government regulation of AI technologies.
